are you, loving and merciful God.
You gave us Jesus to be our Savior and Friend, Brother and Redeemer. Jesus sends us as members of His body, the Church, to be His presence in service to our brothers and sisters. Everything we are and everything we have are gifts from you and meant to be shared. Give us the strength to see beyond our human vision of stewardship and rise to a higher level of sacrificial giving. May all members of our diocese support the future of our church and to recognize those who have sacrificed before us here in South Carolina. We seek the intersession of our patron, St. John the Baptist, in all our efforts on behalf of God’s Kingdom. We make this prayer, guided by your Spirit, And confident in the name of Christ, our Lord.
