CHARLESTON - Bishop Robert J. Baker has appointed Stephen Gajdosik as the new Press Secretary for the Diocese of Charleston.

Gajdosik comes to the diocese from Wisconsin where he was the founding President of the Catholic Radio Association, the trade association for Catholic radio in North America.
"Most people look to the media for information and consequently, formation,” Gajdosik said. "I look forward to bringing the saving message of the Faith into this great areopagus of public opinion." 

Gajdosik holds a Master’s degree in theology from Ave Maria College.  He attends Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist with his wife and six children.
