The Catholic Miscellany 

The Catholic Miscellany is the successor to the United States Catholic Miscellany, the first national Catholic weekly newspaper, founded in 1822 by John England, the first bishop of Charleston.

MISSION
The Catholic Miscellany is the official newspaper for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charleston, serving the state of South Carolina. Its mission is to present the Gospel values and news of the local and universal church and to provide a forum for commentary. The vision of The Catholic Miscellany is to strive to be a respected, professional Catholic publication, well-read and valued by an expanding readership.

The newspaper is not responsible for any unsolicited stories or photographs. Advertisements do not necessarily re­flect the views or en­dorse­ments of The Catholic Misc­ell­any or its publisher. The Catholic Miscellany reserves the right to reject any advertising submitted.

DEADLINES
