| Why does my parish conduct the Bishop's
Stewardship Appeal? |
All 118 parishes and missions of the
diocese partake in this annual appeal. It is through this appeal
that many of the programs supported by the diocese can be offered in our
communities today. Without the Bishop's Stewardship Appeal, thousands
of families who rely on these programs and their support would go without.
| Did my donation to the 'Our Heritage, Our
Hope Campaign' count as a donation to the BSA? |
Only for 2006. In the year 2006,
the parishes of the diocese participated in the Our Heritage, Our Hope
Capital Campaign which was combined with the BSA for one year. Many
are still paying their pledges to that campaign and the BS has returned
in its traditional and separate form.
