WELCOMING committee Representatives
are responsible for providing hospitality to new parishioners. This includes
giving welcome packages to new families. They also host the women prayer
socials. |
| CHRISTIAN FORMATION for early childhood
through adult. Groups meet on Sun. morning at 8:50 - 9:50AM. |
REVIVAL Held annually in October. Conducted
by a prominent Catholic facilitator. |
| R.C.I.A The Rite Of Christian Initiation of Adults,
is the first stage of Catholic education and spiritual formation for those
entering into full communion with the Church. Sessions at 8:50AM Sundays
& 7:00PM Wednesdays |
AFRICAN STYLE LITURGY Held three times a year in
Feb. (Black History Month), First Sunday in July and Sunday beginning
the Revival. At a regular 10AM liturgy, but with African traditions. ALL
are encouraged to wear African attire. |
DOROTHY DAY SOUP KITCHEN Volunteers help with the
daily service of providing a meal for those in need. To signup, call Beverly
Carroll at 366-2963.

ETHNIC DINNER Held annually in Bannon Hall. Parishioners
bring covered dishes in their own ethnic traditions. This is very well
attended, and enjoyed by all. |
| NURSERY for the young children during
the 10AM Mass. |
BIBLE STUDY meets Thursdays, 7PM at the
St. Mary Missionary Cenacle. |
| YOUNG ADULTS fund various events including a ski
trip with pancake breakfasts, etc. |
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is held one week in June at
5:30 for the whole family. |
| MENS PRAYER BREAKFAST 7AM, 1st Sunday of the month. |
CHURCH PICNIC is held on Last Saturday in July. |
| ROSARY & CONFRATERNITY SOCIETY meets
1st Sunday of month at 11:15AM. |
STANDING MINISTRIES & COMMITTEES
include Parish Council (all ministries represented), Finance, Evangelization,
Liturgy, Stewardship, Social Concerns, Social Events, Vocations, Hospitality
and Religious Education. |
